About UNITY

No one likes disease, let alone being affected by any that are completely avoidable. With so much information flying around in the digital age, it has become increasingly difficult for people to distinguish fact from opinion.

Unity® Consortium, in conjunction with trusted partners in both private and public sectors, aims to eliminate misinformation and provide the rights tools and resources to ensure a future that is free of preventable diseases.

Our Members and Liaisons

This Consortium is the first of its kind to unite public and private organizations to share data and research and collaborate on initiatives aligned with our mission.

Our Initiatives

While education is key, it is only half the battle: engagement and action are necessary to strive for change. In coordination with dedicated healthcare providers, parents, and adolescents, UNITY facilitates programs and studies with actionable results to increase visibility in the community.

Pursuit of the Three Cs:

Confident, Concise, and Consistent. Healthcare provider recommendations are a critical influence on parent and adolescent agreement to vaccinate on time.

Adolescent Immunization Action Week

Adolescent Immunization Action Week (#AIAW24) is the first week of April. The goal of AIAW is to motivate adolescents and young adults to stay up to date on their recommended vaccines.

VAX@16

The UNITY Consortium has developed a new, first-of-its-kind campaign (VAX@16) emphasizing the 16-year-old well-visit and the vaccines that can help protect teens at that age.

2023-2024 Mom Advisory Council

A nationwide initiative aimed at educating the decision makers, the Mom Advisory Council leans on moms to help other moms know best.

2023-2024 Teen Advisory Council

A nationwide effort to bring teens and young adults together to identify the best ways to communicate about vaccines, creating a different type of peer-to-peer network.
