During AIAW 2024, Unity reached over 275 million teens, parents, and healthcare providers through the support of members and partners. This year, #AIAW25 is another chance for us to reach new audiences and keep more teens safe from vaccine-preventable illnesses. Read on to learn why AIAW is important, and what you can do to get ready for #AIAW25.
During AIAW, we encourage teens and parents to stay on TASK with vaccines. TASK stands for four key things to remember for vaccination:
- Trust good resources
- Ask questions
- Schedule an appointment
- Know where to get vaccinated
It can be hard to stay up to date on all the recommended vaccines, reminding your community to stay on TASK is an easy way to help everyone stay up to date, and overcome vaccine challenges.
Each day during AIAW, Unity will feature events centred around a daily theme. Monday will focus on all the pieces of staying on TASK, and each subsequent day will focus on a specific component of TASK. We encourage you to participate and share these events with your community!
