A nationwide effort to bring teens and young adults together to identify the best ways to communicate about vaccines, creating a different type of peer-to-peer network.Accepting applications now.<\/p>\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tApply Here\n\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\n In high schools throughout the U.S., teens and their peers share information they come across from various sources, whether truthful or false. As a result, UNITY is constantly seeking advice from teens to help us succeed in our mission to improve teen health through proper education regarding vaccination.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Participants take part in group phone conversations (virtual meetings) every 2 – 3 months over a committed one-year period to help UNITY create effective programs and messaging about health information to teens across the U.S.<\/p>\n When so many health decisions are influenced by peers and information they share, it is important that everyone has access to the best sources of knowledge. Together, through meaningful discussion and collaborative efforts, we aim to:<\/p>\n\t We want to understand how today’s teens think and how they interaction with their families and peers.<\/p><\/li> We know that not everyone speaks the same language, but finding common ground is key.<\/p><\/li> Delivery is important, and having input from teens who are directly impacted is key to acceptance.<\/p><\/li> In collaborating with like-minded teens, we learn the best ways to communicate with other teens.<\/p><\/li> With the right tools, materials, and support network, you can push your generation forward with knowledge.<\/p><\/li>\t<\/ul>\n UNITY encourages teens that may be interested in STEM, health, education, or communication to apply.
